Beijing Tianrun New Energy Investment Corporation (hereinafter as Tianrun Investment), a fully-owned subsidiary of the listed Xinjiang Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd (Code: 002202), was established in Beijing in April 2007 with a registered capital of 330 million yuan and is mainly engaged in investment, development, construction, operation and technical services relating to wind power. Goldwind has decades of experiences in wind power technology, generation unit manufacturing, project development, wind farm management and wind power advisory services and is an undisputed leader in China’s wind power industry. Tianrun Investment will lever these strengths of its parent company for fast development, construction and management of wind farms.

     Tianrun Investment has a lean, efficient, international and professional team for wind farm investment and management team, and the company has reached wind power project deals with 42 county-level governments in Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Gansu and Shanxi, which will cover a combined area of 7,000 square kilometers with total planned capacity over 25000MW. Till December 2008, Tianrun Investment has managed nearly 3 billion yuan in wind power assets and has built up 350MW wind power capacity, of which 200MW capacity was put into operation.

     The mission of Tianrun Investment is to create clean energy and blue sky for future generations, and it is aimed to become a world-class wind power investment and management company with sprits of responsibility, challenges, learning and value creation. It plans to develop 1250MW wind farms by the year 2010.
